Games Can Be a Sight of Political Expression
Games can be a sight of political expression as well as just, you know, fun and competitiveness. Over the last three years, we've seen an increase from 74% of gamers reporting harassment in 20 19 to 83%. We also asked about people's experience with extremism and they reported almost one ten per cent exposed to white supremacist ideology. This is not structural; this is more like social media phenomena that you think about or see in online games. So what i generally say is any sort of phenomena of hate and harassment and extremism will never go away.
