"I typically just pray with my eyes closed. I don't i don't typically like gaze upon the host," he says. "The eucharist does not remind me of his presence any more than than simply closing my eyes and resting in the presence." He adds that there's nothing wrong hesitation with other people, gazing upon the eucharist.
