Is Vertical Jump Training Going to Improve Your Squat?

Jumping to boxes can improve your squat indirectly. It is also very low fatigue, especially if you jump onto a box. Can it be part of a powerlifting prep that makes sense? Definitely. But I wouldn't put a ton of stock into it as this thing that's going to bring up your lifts like crazy.
