Is There a Correlation Between Touch and Happiness?

i think people are starving for touch in our society, and they turn it towards sexuality. I've heard men say number of times, i just want to be held. And if you watch a couple who have just bonded, or who are feeling close, they touch each other. It's about the fact she's a mammal. She can't suck up that much affection from her partner as an animal. There's no such thing as 'p d' - public displays of affection like handholding and sort of kissing. Is there a correlation between couples that li it's called like p d, a public display of affection? Does that correlate to happier yes, i think it does.
