And from there, something a little bit less concrete, like needling some point or, or wearing someone down, leaving them with Frayed edges. The same thing happens with your verb to snap with clean edges; that word evolved into "robot" I was thinking about how the two resulting pieces were intact in my kitchen when I came up with 'robot'
