There are studies who say strength training in endurance sport is good, says Dan. But he believes maximum strengths and explosive strength training should be used for injury prevention. In cycling, if you are a sprinter or classic rider, it makes some sense to use this kind of exercise on the bike - but with climbers there's not so much common ground.
