How to Train in Accordance With Your Menstrual Cycle

Training in accordance with your menstrual cycle is a new concept. There isn't much high level evidence to necessarily that you need to stick to what I'm about to say but it's an interesting theory. During the follicular phase during the follicularphase we have kind of a shift to using carbohydrates as our predominant fuel source and increase ability to storing glycogen so it's really important that we are fueling ourselves correctly during this time. In the luteal phase when progesterone hormones dominant it can make you feel really sluggish and really flat.
