The Avocado Fruit Is Like a Cherry

The avocado stores most of its energy as fat inside. The original wild avocado had a very very thin mezzo carp but still a giant seed. Avocados trick Animals into swallowing their seeds whole and then pooping them out somewhere else where they can grow into a new tree. It's thought the avocado coevolved with maybe giant sloths or other extinct megafauna that were large enough to swallow the seed whole.
