The Differential Practices Around Weaning for High Flow and CPAP
The choice of the primary outcome took several months of discussion including consultation with the parent members and the clinical members on the research team. So we are reasonably confident that patients were weaned as per the algorithms but it's certainly a consideration you know leaving patients on high flow because they are more comfortable is quite possibly the sort of default position for clinicians.
