Debian 12: The Best Release Ever
Debian is a stable Linux distro that's supposed to be locked in place. The desktop ecosystem is always changing and when you're stuck with two-year-old software it's simply not going to work anymore, he says. He describes his frustration at the lack of feature updates on Debian as "ridiculous" It was kind of like my first entryway into trying to just understand open source software this was many years ago but I couldn't build Firefox from source on Debian every time I tried to do it so there were 50 dependencies out of date by this much.
