The Death of Horse Dassler
In 1987, Horse Dassler, the businessman who put Adidas on the map in more than 150 countries, dies suddenly at the age of 51. After horse Daster dies, 20% of his shares go to his kids, Adi Jr. and Suzanne. But horse also has four sisters, and they control the remainder of the company. The sisters begin working together and they start agitating for a sale of the firm.
