Is CTL a Good Metric for Fitness?
In some ways, CTL is a measure of how much work. It's not so different from just looking at raw number of kilojoules burned. The basic principle of having a peak performance is that you have trained hard and now you find your best legs which oftentimes require some level of resting in order to get them there. But using, using all this kind of stuff to rely on also has a downside in that it doesn't reflect additional stressors that you have in your life.
