The Importance of Magnesium in the Body
There was one study looking at magnesium in athletes and they found that 42% of athletes were magnesium deficient. Magnesium citrate, you know, three to 600 milligrams a day is reasonable to start with. But I'm not really concerned about overdoing magnesium because if we put a little bit too much in the kidneys, we'll correct it. Potassium is a bit of a different story, as you know, because if you overcook that one, you can get harder with me as in you can cause heart attacks.
