Fred Smith: I don't specifically remember how I got in touch with Kathleen. But on a daily basis, everybody in some of the Facebook groups talks about leaving, selling what to do. And so I get tagged a lot and I have attached practitioners who will pay me consulting fees to work with them on structuring a deal. So we started messaging back and forth and over a month or so, we decided to structure the deal. It was sealed when our husband saw that we are not the typical accounting firm and said you need to be with these guys.
