An RPE stands for, rating of perceived exertion. A seven to eight out of 10 means you should technically have two or three reps left in the tank. The more advanced a trainer is that you sort of just intuitively get know how many reps you have. But if you don't know when you're a new, you're a beginner and you have no idea, you either have to trial an error. So take a set to failure and see what you could do. And then you'll know for that load, how many Reps you can do for that load.
