The Good and the Bad of Personas

The most important part of this process, I think is definitely identifying the goals of why you were doing personas before you get started. You've got to know like what you're trying to accomplish with them and why. There's some, at least in my opinion, there's like some good and some bad about personas. It helps us not design for ourselves, but focuses everybody around the fact that hey, we have a user. It's not us. And then it makes something that is abstract, much more concrete.
