What Is Deep Canvassing?
The LA LGBT center uses a technique known as deep canvassing. The goal is to get people to articulate in emotion, and then let them tell a story. It's not diagonically about how they felt shamed because that person said you were dyslexic. You just elicit a story from them. Sometimes they ask questions about gay people. And then you say, thank you very much and you leave.
