Are You Surprised That Nothing Major Has Broken?
People think that the Fed basically are going to tighten until they break something, right? And kind of all eyes are on the US treasury market there. I do think one thing that is a surprise, at least me, if we rewind the clock to the start of this year,. If you told me that the Fed was going to consistently hike rates 75 basis point meeting after meeting and thatthere wasn't an historic bull run...I don't know the probability that if the Fed continues on the hiking cycle that they're on, eventually they're going to break something and have to pivot more quickly than otherwise.
