The Importance of Specificity in Training
There are probably independent adaptations that occur in response to load and kind of the fatigue within a set. There's a whole lot of candid ones that I think you could potentially point at with indirect lines of evidence or direct lines of evidence but I do think there probably are independent adaptations to both of those things. If we had to kind of spitball and say okay well what makes the most sense you're probably going to lean in the direction of specificity at least in the short term now in the in the long term like you said that's where things start getting creative.
