As a society, so many people are worried about very basic needs that they're not having met. But I believe very strongly that the rejection of believing that what you're talking about is crucial is part of the problem. The movement to psychological and mental health should only be attainable or accessible to people once they have achieved abiancy. This idea that we've got to have one in order to have the other is actually firstly not true to Maslow's work, but it's also not true to the science.
