The Importance of Recognizing Immediate Bias

The book talks about the importance of recognizing what people don't recognize, which is that we all have implicit bias. Everyone has it, and yet it seems to be some that we're almost universally unaware of. It's harmful when those assumptions that they're making about people are leadingo them to be more a exclusive or to be discriminatory. So i defy and implicit bias as the subconscious assumptions that we make about people based on their identity.
