Amazon and Random Penguin

As much as a third of all amazon's revenue comes from companies paying them to be advertised, promoted or otherwise present on the web site. "Random penguin" wasn't able to bring a big enough wheelbarrowful of money to ange the search results and anything else about how the consumer experienced amazon. It causes them to fail because somebody else comes along that only cares about the consumer. Someone else comes along who realizes that if they can coordinate and understand consumer interests, they will do better.
