How to Balance Negativity Bias
There's something that is called the negativity bias in psychology. And so one of the things we need to learn how to do is balance this negativity bias by beginning to focus on the good and the beautiful. So when I wake up in the morning, in an attempt to prime my brain to scan my environment for the surprising, wonderful things, instead of for all the terrible things that are going to happen. Then I go through my day truly looking for the little things that I wouldn't have noticed.
