Having a Dialogue With Yourself
When we do this, we're more in a theta brain wave. This is also known as state akin to sleep. It's during these times where we can imagine very vividly and impress the subconscious mind. Perhaps overthinking can prevent a person from accessing the subconscious in a way without creating unnecessary argumentation in their own mind. For example, if i suggest to myself something that is truly how i want to be, truly how I want to live, i could end up arguing with myself in my own mind,. coming up with reasons why i can't be how i really want to be.
