The Facebook Find From the EU Is a Cross-Border Data Movement Problem
CNN's John Sutter says the Facebook find is not a GDPR violation. The EU has made it illegal to store European data on US data centers, which affects every media company and tech company who does business in Europe. There is an agreement with the Biden administration to allow this to happen, but it has not been agreed to by the EU yet. "This is really positive for Twitter, quite frankly," said Sutter.
