The Benefits of Barefoots for Powerlifting

Barefoots can improve foot strength by up to 60%. Most shoes have a drop from heel to toe. And then they have a layer of sponginess or a layer of rubber beneath them. I found that my feet are significantly more reinforced just by walking around in the day to day when I'm running downhill. The whole ankle structure is strengthened and more reinforced where I can be much more confident and nimble on my feet.
