Stress hormone cortisol is great for when you need it. But chronically stressed people don't get the spike they need and end up being more stressed all the time. Every neurochemical we have serves a very good purpose. It's just harnessing it and knowing when it should. We've just done a lot in our society to kind of cook it. I love that because as well, I've always thought about cortisol as like the stress hormone. Whereas now I'm going to reframe into my brain as that's my let's go bitch juice.
