How to Improve a Manager's Performance in a Shop?
We find people responding to rank. So when they get a rank that is large, which means you're low down in the ranking, they improve their performance. What's also nice about this datus set is that we see some of the manager's decisions about the variables that directly affect this performance. And what we see is that labor moves in the same direction as would be predicted by the idea that managers want to improve their ranking.
