Is Self Compassion Helping Eating Disorders?
Self compassion allows us to regulate our motions directly and ow therwards, instead of using food as a way to do with those feelings of upsetness. One thing that doctor nef says that self compassion helps us with is feelings of shame. Some eating disorders are driven by body dissatisfaction or sometimes it's feeling like you don't deserve food. For some cases in atarexi, all those are driven by shame, largely. And self passion is a direct antidote to shame. Rites with shame, feeling that i am not worthy self, compassion says, all human beings are worthy.
