One interesting feature of our society, I think, and this is related to the thing you meant about the variety of relationships is that we seem to not really want to accept that. Like there's all this stuff about like, you know, keeping the spice in your marriage and how to reawaken your whatever. But this is part of our culture's ideals, which we have to realize like other societies have had different ideals.
