Does Fructose Cause Fatty Liver?

There are now studies in people, two studies that show that giving glucose to people results in an increase. We make somewhere between 5 and 20 grams of fructose a day based upon these two studies. So anyway, so we are making fructose from glucose. And so if the question you're asking is, does fructose doesn't cause fatty liver? Or is it any worse than glucose? You're right. If you look at it from that standpoint, well, both [of them] cause fatty liver. They do.
