How to Translate French Prose

I had a surprisingly hard time with the purple cow cow because it looks so simple and you know so innocuous. You have to unpack without unpacking because it's not lost in the book you're just stating it. Do you read out loud to see if the prosely the musicality that written if it's there? I do tend to betray the Frenchness of syntax to accommodate Ben's genius. No the other trick is very French it comes from FĂŒhbre and you have to read out loud and it works.
