In 2000 men over 20 years, men who sauna four to seven times a week had a 65% reduction in all cause mortality. Most people will do that right before bed. You don't need a sauna, you can also just use a hot shower. The heat is going to cause your blood to travel to your periphery. That's part of the cooling down process.
