How to Increase Your Max Strength and Power Output

Athletes only focus on 60 to 70% of the max intent, so how do you increase their power output? I use velocity based training to figure out their weights for the cycle. We start below where we want to be and then as they adapt, they start getting into where they want to be. So like I said, we don't look at the max strength aspect of it. We're looking at how much weight you can move, but how fast you can move it.
