Is April 1 a Risk Allele for FSGS?
April 1 is simply put causing an increased vulnerability of the purocyte to whatever hits it. And so these patients just have a higher tendency or a higher likelihood to lose their purocytes when there's a stress situations for them. Patients that have two risk alleles for April 1 and are hit with minimal change disease have probably, I haven't looked at this, but have probably a higher likelihoodto go on to develop FSGS and even collapsing lesions.
