Are We as Committed to Democracy as Rolz Was?
There's a lot of evidence now, particularly from the United States, that younger people are not so concerned about democracy. I mean, the Rolzian response would be to try to improve democracy rather than to move on. But it does give a dilemma. There was a type of criticism we haven't talked about that Rolz is setting out his principles of justice for the just society. So that raises a question about what would democracy be doing if Rolz has already given us the answers?
