The real challenge is the fear of compassion. Why does compassion trigger a threat response in our minds and our bodies, rather than a caring experience? And this is what we will hopefully e exploring throughout this talk. So we all struggle to some degree with developing self compassion. But when i was thinking about this talk to night, it also struck me that it's very timely, because certainly, in the u k, we're very soon to come out of full lockdown,. This is going to present a lot of opportunities and challenges to us. It's going to really test r compassion and our self compassion.
