Bringing People Into the Research Process
I think that was one of the mistakes that I personally made at Parliament is I looked at other organisations who were working in this model and it's been very successful. Obviously that collaborative research practice requires the other people who are not researchers such as designers and product managers to understand enough about research so they can play an active role in it. Also it takes a lot of people's time if you want people to come and watch research sessions and analyse findings together. If you're a developer that's time you're not writing codes and feels quite like you've been taken away from your job. The approach I've tried to take since is okay let's build up to that model let's start an agency
