I've had to learn over the many years to not be afraid of instantaneous feedback and really lean on it as much as possible. I know a lot of designers who at least start out are very excited by the idea of a quote, living, breathing world. A world is only as meaningful to the player as the game makes it. So there's a gameplay that can be done there. If the player doesn't see it, it might not exist,. which I think is important and valuable. To take this axiom even a bit meta, maybe you have a strong vision of the kind of game you want to make. But to grow as a designer, we need to step outside of ourselves
