Partially Range Lifts Don't Carry Over to Full Range Lifting

"I was benching 405 at the 405 was my max. I think I'm going to bench like, you know, between 435 and 455," he says. "After all that heavy lifting, I got no stronger in a full range lift." He's done three week mini cycles where he focus more on partial range.
