What Do Market Forces Do to Pro-Social Behavior?

Eric Liu: We're not trying to explain all of the market and how it impacts all of our cognition, but a very slim part of it. He says we were interested in understanding what market forces do to pro-social behavior. Liu: In a good market, people are incentivized to do things that are useful to other people because other people will pay them for those things. And they're incentivized also to act in ways that are fair and trustworthy, he says.
