Like all or nothing thinking like seeing things in black and white If the situation falls short of perfect you see it as a total failure. That's like one example overgeneralization You see a single event such as a rejection or You get fired as a never-ending pattern of defeat. But followed by words such as like always or never and that's kind of what I was thinking in my own head
