The Problem With NPS

You did a blog post on media, a breakdown of all the reasons why NPS really isn't telling you anything that you can act on. So how was the reaction to that as well? I've less of a problem with with these figures, magical figures been used to kind of gauge a direction. What I have a big problem with though is when it's things like NPS are used for research as a substitute for maybe over better forms of research. If it's not good for research, what is it actually good for?
