At first, we thought experience gaps were always a bad thing. What we've learned throughout our work is they're not all necessarily bad or need to be closed in the same way. For example, Aldi has a lot of intentional gaps that you would think about in the traditional grocery store experience. They usually only have one checkout person when you go there.
