The Cult of Creativity in the Age of AI
For decades, we were told that creativity was the thing was the human attribute. And it's weird now and disorienting that we can see that a lot of the things that we call creative can be done by machines. We have equated creativity with humanness and humanity. So it's very disorienting for us to see this moment where chat GPT can write ad copy or write an article and Dali can create the cover of a book. That's creative stuff that was supposed to not be able to be automated.
