Is There a Secular Stagnation?
As economies move, me from agricultural to manufacturing, these can hof supply chains become a lot longer. And hence, innovation can have accumulates quicker, and we see quicker growth. But as economies may be moved from manufacturing to more service sected er industries, supply chains get shorter again. Ah, this may be part a partial explanation of secular stagnation. It's hard to actually measure the tropic levels very far back, very accurately.
