The Importance of Protein in Muscle Growth

Protein is one of the highest satiety foods, says Ross Phillips. In calorie restricted diets, increasing it to around 2 gram per kilogram mark should be recommended for maintaining lean mass whilst trying to drop some body fat. The more I read the literature, I've not seen anything yet to convince me that going any higher than that offers any real advantage. If we did that four times a day, we're 1.5, 1.6 grams per kilogram body mass - which is about twice what we are with aids.
