The real witness is the one that witnesses these observers, these apparent obsevers, and whatever it else you are witnessing. What it witnesses always changes, but that which witnesses or knows our experience is always the same. So do you just get further back? Yes. Whatever exactly you mean by thatyou you have not you need to go back one more step to the observer or the knower of your experience.
