Pre Workout Meal Timing Is Important
You need the energy available in your muscle cells when you need it. If it's not there, we're going to have to change to alternate sources of fuel. Our muscle cells are most able to absorb glycogen and re fuel right in that post work out time frame. We don't want to just think about our 24 hour energy availability, energy balance,. It's sort of like, hour by hour, are you matching up and meeting your body's energy needs?
