A doge coin succeeded because it didn't take itself too seriously. The people who created it have obviously had some involvement, but they've made some pretty great donations. They need to branch out towards people who aren't as knowledgeable in terms of crypto. And like you said, everybody right now is trying to make some sort of investment. It feels less and less like investment, laghtly, and more and morelike gambling....
